O' Father of love, O Spirit of grace;
O' Son of God, show me Thy face;
Show me Thine mercy, sent from above;
O' show me, O show me, Godhead of love!
These wond'rous sins, that I call mine own;
Are in my wretched state, gloriously shown;
When Thou came and died upon that tree,
To satisfy Thy Father's wrath for me!
O' Holy of Holies! O Christ the Most High!
Never Thy grace, could I deny!
Come, O' Come and make flesh our stone hearts;
And never, O' never, from us depart!
In union with Christ our hearts set upon;
To worship Him at His glorious throne!
Our sins and trespasses on Him were driven;
Here then we stand, wholly forgiven!
