"Ransomed Bride" by Wesley Tyler Robinson

[To the praise of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for purposing a mass of sinful men and women to be
purchased by the blood of His holy Son, in order to make for Himself a bride clothed in His righteousness alone. Amen.]

Perfect, Holy and Just;
Thou art worthy of my trust.
Thy love was once far from me,
But thanks to Thee I see:

My life was cold and black,
Empty of joy and grace;
But thanks to Thee and Thee alone,
I see Thy wondrous face!

When worldly comfort is eviscerated,
In these tumultuous times;
I trust in Thy sovereign grace,
To restore my soul to the Christ divine.

Once lacking truth and full of death,
Everything seemed meaningless,
Til' Thy sovereign love poured mercy on me,
To show me Thy Son, who died for me.

So in Thy love Thou hath predestined me,
From Thy counsel above;
Christ's blood is what saved me,
To know Thy courts above.

I am evil enough at my very best,
So I will never boast in anything less;

Than Your mercy and Your grace,
Than Your Spirit dwelt inside;
This wretched teary face,
Which Thou hath called Thy bride.
