"Nought What Our Hands Hath Done" by Wesley Tyler Robinson

Nought what our hands hath done,
Can fulfill Thy Law's demands,
No works nor any moral,
Can redeem guilty man.

Christ hath the only works,
And the only true rewards,
Thus He may unite us to Himself,
The Sovereign Lord of Lord's.

His bitter death hath ran cold,
And brought us gracious merit;
His mercy drank the cup of wrath,
So eternal life we inherit.

His prayers the Father will always hear,
As long as on His throne He is seated.
What gracious Savior that we have,
Whom will always be interceding?
