"Upon That Tree" by Wesley Tyler Robinson

[To the praise of Christ and His glorious atonement, and ministry of reconciliation which He accomplished by His death, burial, and resurrection. By His glorious grace and imputed righteousness, we will praise Him to the end
of our lives. Amen.]

My burdens have been reconciled,
Something above has set me free.
My soul has been justified,
By the one who hangs upon that tree.

His death was bitter, His blood was cold
But it saved me from the fiery coals.
Pain and dishonor he bore for me,
When He hung upon that tree.

I saw His tears, they were so sweet,
For this I bow at the Savior's feet;
His blood has spilled grace on me,
By being cursed upon that tree.

My soul was ransomed from the fall,
Though I deserve nothing, I was given all.
Love so perfect, I cannot speak,
Was shown to me upon that tree.

I have been rescued from the depths of Sheol,
For He drank the wrath of God in full.
So by grace, I pray men see;
And praise the Lord upon that tree.
